4th International Rangzen Conference to be held in Paris

DHARAMSALA, August 17: Tibetan independence advocates around the world will converge for the 4th International Rangzen Conference to be held in Paris, France.

As per the resolution passed during the 3rd International Rangzen Conference held last year in New York, the 4th International Rangzen Conference will be held in the capital of France from August 21-23, the organizer of the conference announced in a press release.

20891535_1628019050575832_1735232638_nAround 200 Tibetan independence advocates around the world will attend the 4th International Rangzen Conference, the release stated. The attendees include Tibetan Parliamentarians, Tibetan organisations rooting for independence, foreign organisations supporting Tibet’s independence, special invitees from India and Nepal, and Tibetan Rangzen advocates and supporters from United States, England, Canada, Europe, Australia and Taiwan.

The organisers have further announced that it has extended invitations to the Chinese activists advocating democracy, Chinese scholars rooting for Tibetan independence and independence advocates from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mongol and East Turkistan (Ch: Xinjiang) to discuss and exchange ideas and experiences.

The organisers also plan to spread awareness about democracy to the Tibetans and provide workshops on organising activities in the era of internet.
