Sex racket busted in Mcleod Ganj

DHARAMSALA, March: Kangra police has arrested 4 Indians from Punjab and Noida in Mcleod Ganj late Thursday night after it raided a private guest house following a tip-off about a sex racket, The Times of India reported.

The culprits were identified as Vinod and Rohan Puri from Pathankot, Aditya Sharma from Noida, and Gurdev Singh from Amritsar.

A case under the provisions of Immoral Traffic Act besides section 370 (Buying or disposing of any person as a slave) of IPC has been registered, the report added.

More arrest in the case is likely as the police further investigate the case.

“There will be more arrests in this case. It is expected that 10 more could be arrested in coming days,” Kangra SSP, Sanjeev Gandhi was quoted as saying in the report.

According to the police investigation, the racket was being operated from Punjab. The police team is likely to raid places in neighboring state too.
