Kyabje Yongzin Ling Rinpoche to grace Festival of Tibet in Australia

DHARAMSALA, April 13, 2016: His Eminence the 7th Kyabje Yongzin Ling Rinpoche will grace the Festival of Tibet to be held in Brisbane, Australia over April 18 – 24 during his maiden visit to the country.

The proceeds of the festival will go to the Tibetan Children’s Village in India to support the education of Tibetan children living in exile. His Eminence will be grace the festival as special guest accompanied by the internationally renowned Indian environmentalist and author Dr Vandana Shiva, Australian MPs and Aboriginal activists.

Ling_Rinpoche's_First_Tour_AustraliaUntil May 1st, His Eminence will be travelling around Australia, giving teachings and public talks to the wider Australian community as well as meeting with members of the emerging Australian Tibetan community, many of whom are ex-political prisoners.

On Saturday April 23, His Eminence will give a public talk ‘Karmic Imprints: Life after Death’ at 7:30 pm at Brisbane power house.

On April 25, His Eminence will grace the Byron Bay Community Centre and give teaching on Heart Sutra, followed by the ‘Eight Verses for Training the Mind’ teaching at 3/822 George St, Sydney on April 27 at 7:00 pm.

On April 28, His Eminence will give blessing to the Tibetan community in Sydney after a talk on introduction to Buddhism at Dee Why Public School Hall.

The tour Concludes after His Eminence’s teaching on “The Three Principle Aspects of the Path” to be held over April 30- May 1 at Chenrezig institute.
