DHARAMSALA, June 23: Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama will share the centre stage with American pop star Lady Gaga at the U.S. Conference of Mayors 84th Annual Meeting in Indianapolis.
The Tibetan Noble Peace laureate and the six time Grammy awardee will address the conference in Indianapolis on Sunday, reports fox59.com June 22.
His Holiness will address the conference on the global significance of building compassionate cities following which Lady Gaga will join him for a question-and-answer session to be moderated by journalist Ann Curry.
Apart from the Tibetan spiritual leader and the American pop star, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will also speak at the event which is not open to the general public.
The conference, to be hosted by Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett and USCM President Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake of Baltimore, will commence from June 24 – 27 with 300 mayors from across the country attending the event.
