DHARAMSALA, August 11: Mounting road accidents involving two wheelers in Dharamsala has driven the police to come up with a new law, ‘No helmet, no fuel’ with effect from August 11.

The 12 petrol pumps in operation in the city have agreed to implement the rule as the owners met with the police on Monday.

The rule will be applicable to tourists as well, he added.

The SP is understood to have directed Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in Kangra to implement the rule as well.

“Pump owners in Baijnath had also decided to join the campaign and would start implementing it from 11th August,” Baijnath sub-division police officer Puran Chand said, reports hillpost.in, August 9.
