Tibetan American teen shot dead in US

DHARAMSALA, Sep 1: A Tibetan American teen has fallen victim to gun violence in the United States.

21245291_1642787882432282_762486878_nTenzin Kunkhyen, 16 was found fatally shot in the chest in a house at 14 Farragut Avenue in Somerville on Tuesday by the police. He was later taken to Mount Auburn Hospital where he was pronounced death, reports bostonglobe.com.

Preliminary investigations by the police ruled out the shooting as a random act and stated that Tibetan American teen was inside the house with people he knew.

The parents of the slain Tibetan teen were left devastated at the loss of their son. The victim’s friends at Somerville high have fond memories of him and described him as a nice, pleasant and positive guy.

No one has been charged in the shooting and no arrests have been made so far by the police but investigations are on.
