I am totally fine now, the Dalai Lama assures public
DHARAMSALA, 23 April: His Holiness the Dalai Lama has assured the public that he has recovered well after the treatment and is totally fine now as he moved to the Tibetan Youth Hostel in Delhi yesterday.
“Look at my face, do you find anything wrong? I am totally fine now. You do not need to worry,” the Dalai Lama said upon his arrival at the Tibetan Youth Hostel where he will spend some days to recuperate before returning to Dharamshala- his exile headquarter.
The Tibetan spiritual leader was greeted by several hundred Tibetans at the hostel compound as he arrived there from the Sheraton Hotel in Saket where he was moved after being discharged from the Max Super Specialty hospital in Saket, South Delhi on 12 April.
“His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s health is perfect now, he has recovered brilliantly,” the secretary of the Bureau of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Tsering Dhondup confirmed and added that His Holiness will now recuperate here for few days.
The Dalia Lama was admitted at the Max Super Specialty hospital in Saket, South Delhi with ‘minor’ chest infection after he was flown to Delhi on 9 April, a day after he returned following a five-day schedule in the Indian capital where he presided over the Global Launch of SEE Learning curriculum.
The Tibetan Nobel Laureate had his further medication performed at the hotel until he moved to the Tibetan Youth Hostel after the doctors pronounced him as having recovered brilliantly.
