Speaker Penpa Tsering appointed new Representative for the Office of Tibet, Washington

DHARAMSALA May 07: Penpa Tsering, the current Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-exile has been appointed the new Representative of the Office of Tibet in Washington DC.

A statement released on May 6 by the Kashag Secretariat confirmed his appointment.

Penpa Tsering will take charge either from July 01 or immediately after acquiring all the legal documents from the US embassy.
