DHARAMSALA, Apr 14: His Holiness the Dalai Lama will attend an event to be hosted by Indianapolis to speak about world peace and tolerance.

His Holiness will give a speech titled ‘Compassion as the Pillar of The World’ on June 25 at Indiana Farmer’s Coliseum at the State Fairgrounds (a popular Indianapolis venue). The Indiana Farmers Coliseum (originally Indiana State Fairgrounds Coliseum and formerly Pepsi Coliseum and Fairgrounds Coliseum), an indoor multi-use arena located on the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, schedules some of the most unique events in Indiana. It is best known for presenting exciting boxing matches but also features a number of expos, trade shows, and national conferences which attract audiences from around the state.

The Farm Bureau Building’s large accommodations and unique layout make it ideal for events ranging from a large convention to a private banquet.

His last visit to the state in 2010 drew more than 9,000 people to Banker’s Life Fieldhouse.

His Holiness last visited the US in January 2016 for a prostrate treatment at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
