Dalai Lama to confer teaching on ‘Tsongkhapa’s Three Principal Paths and Stages of the Path to Enlightenment’

DHARAMSALA, 28 Dec: The private office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama has announced that the Tibetan spiritual leader will conduct teaching on Tsongkhapa’s The Three Principal Paths (lamtso namsum) and Tsongkhapa’s Short Version of the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment (lamrim dhuedhon) virtually on Wednesday.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama will give a teaching on Tsongkhapa’s The Three Principal Paths (lamtso namsum) and Tsongkhapa’s Short Version of the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment (lamrim dhuedhon) from 9 am to 10 am (Indian Standard Time) at the request of Gaden Tri-thog Khang,” reported the dalailama.com, the official website of the Office the Dalai Lama.

Devotees can watch the live webcast of the teachings in Tibetan with translation in English, Chinese, Hindi, French, Russian, Spanish, Vietnamese, Japanese, Mongolian, Korean, German, Portuguese and Italian on the official website and Facebook page of the office of the Tibetan Nobel Laureate.

The office has further urged the devotees and followers of the Tibetan Nobel Laureate to “follow their local social distancing rules while viewing the live webcast” as a precautionary measure as the world continues to battle with COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the octogenarian Tibetan leader has also resumed in-person meetings with the public at his residence since 15 Dec, Tsuglagkhang, the main temple here in Dharamsala still remains closed for devotees.

The Dalai Lama stopped his meetings with visitors at his residence as a precautionary measure since 30 Jan. 2020 and Tsuglagkhang, was closed for devotees from 18th March 2020, a day after the first case of coronavirus was confirmed in India.
