3-day remand for molestation accused
[TNN] DHARAMSHALA, May 11: A local court in Palampur sent a 30-year-old Tibetan man in three-day remand who was charged with molestation of two minor girls of Tibetan Children Village (TCV) School, Gopalpur.
The accused, Pema Namgyal, had been arrested on Friday. He worked as a cook in the school hostel. One of the victims had informed the school nurse on May 7 after which the management was told about the happening. A complaint was filed the following day.
Deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Palampur Navdeep Singh said that medical examination results of the girls is being awaited, and the matter is being investigated.
