Tibetan MD student bags Asian Medical Institute’s ‘Best Young Scientist’ of 2022 award
DHARAMSALA, 1 June: A Tibetan medical student in Kyrgyzstan has won the “Best Young Scientist” of 2022 of the Asian Medical Institute in Kyrgyzstan.
Tenzin Yeshi, a Tibetan MD Student at the Asian Medical Institute in Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan has bagged the “Best Young Scientist” of 2022 at the medical institute that attracts students from all over the world, to study MBBS in the mountainous landlocked country in Central Asia, reports www.tibet.net, the CTA’s official website.
The Tibetan Medical student was awarded the prize by the Kyrgyzstan’s Minister of Education.
Yeshi, who studied at TCV Suja and completed his high school at TCV Bylakuppe was also the recipient of the “Leading research Student Award” of 2021 of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the report, he has always been a bright student.
“In India, Tenzin Yeshi won the first position in the annual Tibetan Essay competition among all class 12 in 2015 and was awarded ‘Achievement Degree from Harvard Medical School on Pharmacology and Immunology” in 2020,” the report added.
Besides, he has also received many accolades and appreciation certificates from “World Health Organization (WHO) for his contribution to science and Medicine and participation in programs organised by WHO among others.
