DHARAMSALA, 5 Jan: Tibetan NGOs here in the exile headquarters of the Tibetan people called on India and governments around the world to openly call for the Boycott of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, a month before the games are scheduled to begin in China.

DHARAMSALA, 31 Dec: The Chinese Embassy in New Delhi has written to some Indian parliamentarians calling on them to “refrain from providing support to the ‘Tibetan independence forces, and make contributions to China-India bilateral relations.

DHARAMSALA, 28 Dec: Tibetan Centre for Human Rights and Democracy has called on the Chinese Communist regime to end the cultural assimilation campaign and crackdown on Tibetan intellectuals and cultural leaders.

DHARAMSALA, 28 Dec: The private office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama has announced that the Tibetan spiritual leader will conduct teaching on Tsongkhapa’s The Three Principal Paths (lamtso namsum) and Tsongkhapa’s Short Version of the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment (lamrim dhuedhon) virtually on Wednesday.

DHARAMSALA, 27 Dec: The President of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), as well as the Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-exile(TPIE), have both offered their condolences over the demise of Archbishop Desmond Tutu as Tibetans mourn the passing away of “a very dear friend of His Holiness the Dalai Lama” and a champion of “peace and non-violence.”
