Sanctioned by China, Tibetan activist expresses disappointment over lack of support from Tibetan community, administration 

DHARAMSALA, 27 Dec: Canada Tibet Committee’s (CTC) Executive Director Sherap Therchin expressed disappointment and felt let down by the lack of support he and his colleagues received from the Tibetan community and the administration in exile after they were sanctioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Chinese Communist Government on Sunday, though they received overwhelming support from the Canadian Government and Parliament.

Canada Tibet Committee says it’s more encouraged than ever after China’s sanctions

DHARAMSALA, 23 Dec: The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has imposed sanctions as a “countermeasure against” the Canada Tibet Committee(CTC) and associated individuals for spreading misinformation about the human rights situation in Tibet under the “Anti-Foreign Sanctions Law” in a statement it issued on Saturday. The sanctions took effect on the same day of the announcement.

India-China Signs 6-Point Agreement to Mend Border Tension

DHARAMSALA 19 Dec:  India and China have signed a 6-point consensus agreement to mend border disputes between the two countries as India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi, both of whom serve as Special Representatives (SRs) of their respective countries held talks at the 23rd SRs meeting after an interval of 5 years in Beijing on Wednesday.
