DHARAMSALA, 12 July: A group of Tibetans staged a protest again at Gangchen Kyishong, the central Tibetan secretariat today calling on the Chief Justice Commissioner and the two Justice Commissioners of the Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission (TSJC)impeached by the Tibetan parliament to “respect democracy and resign now” and vacate their seats.

DHARAMSALA, 9 July: The World Movement for Democracy has declared the Students for a Free Tibet the joint winner of this year’s Democracy Courage Tribute along with the Hong Kong Watch, and Campaign for Uyghurs.

New Delhi- Dharamshala – Washington DC, July 9, 2021: When President Xi Jinping talks of Tibetan Buddhism ‘with Chinese characteristics’ then he only reveals China’s intentions of destroying and subsuming Tibet’s unique cultural identity into communism. And his claims about exclusive rights of the Communist Party of China to install the next Dalai Lama of its choice by are too ridiculous to be of any consequence either to the people of Tibet or the world community. These are the two main observations which emerged in the presentations of two experts of international eminence in a webinar which was organized to commemorate the 86th birth anniversary of Nobel Peace Laureate Dalai Lama on 6th July evening.

DHARAMSALA, 8 July: The Tibetan spiritual leader, His Holiness the Dalai Lama as well as the Central Tibetan Administration, (CTA) the Tibetan government-in-exile have both offered their condolences over the demise of Virbhadra Singh, the former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh.

DHARAMSALA, 1 July: Students for a Free Tibet (SFT)- India organised a photo action today to protest against the 100th founding anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party.

DHARAMSALA, 1 July: As many as 15 activists from the Tibetan Youth Congress(TYC) were detained by Delhi police for storming the Chinese Embassy in New Delhi on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party(CPC).
