DHARAMSALA, 7 Feb: Some major forest fires have ravaged various parts of occupied Tibet in the last two weeks, with the Kamda forest fire in Dzamthang County in Ngaba in the traditional Tibetan Province of Amdo being the most recent one. Notably, the fire breakouts have largely gone unreported by Chinese state-owned media.

DHARAMSALA, 27 Jan: Penpa Tsering, the President of the Central Tibetan Administration(CTA), commonly known as the Tibetan Government in Exile, participated in a day-long seminar on “Environment and Security” on Friday last week to address China’s rampant damming along the India-Tibet border.
