Police arrest three for allegedly killing Tibetan youth in Dharamsala
Dharamsala, Nov 02 (ANI): Police arrested three accused for allegedly killing a Tibetan youth in hill town of Dharamsala.
The deceased, Tsultrim Chokden, was murdered in McLeodganj town when he was accompanying a woman friend to her home after a dinner.
The three boys were drunk and followed the two Tibetans while passing comments on them.A fight ensued and the accused persons stabbed the Tibetan youth.
The victim was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Superintendent of Police of Kangra, Abhishek Dular said a case had been registered and the three have been arrested, according to the information provided by the woman.
Further investigations were underway. Tibetan welfare officer in-exile, Sonam Dorjee said there is a growing hatred towards Tibetans among local residents.
