Tibetan Parliament’s Deputy Speaker attends IPAC Prague Summit 2023

DHARAMSALA, 7 Sept: The Deputy Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, Dolma Tsering Teykhang, attended the third Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China (IPAC) Prague Summit 2023, which occurred from September 1st to 2nd at the Czech Chamber of Deputies and Senate buildings in Prague, Czech Republic. According to a report on Tibet.net, the official webpage of the Central Tibetan Administration, this summit convened 50 legislators from 30 countries. Notably, three new countries, the Philippines, Kenya, and Paraguay, became part of the IPAC network during the summit.

Tibetans in Dharamsala celebrate 63rd Tibetan Democracy Day

DHARAMSALA, 2 Sept: A large number of Tibetans and the representatives of the three pillars of Tibetan democracy, as well as the members of the Tibetan Parliament-in-exile and officials of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), gathered today at the main temple in McLeod Ganj to participate in the official celebrations of the 63rd Tibetan Democracy Day.

CHINA’S CARTOGRAPHIC MANIPULATION OF
TIBET IS ‘COLONIALISM OF PERCEPTION’

New Delhi, Paris, New York & Dharamshala – 28 August 2023 Many international experts on
China and Tibet are of the opinion that President Xi Jinping’s obsession with security and to present
himself as the new Mao Zedong is resulting into cultural genocide and total annihilation of the national
personality of China’s colonies like Tibet, East Turkistan (Xinjiang) and Southern Mongolia. Analyzing the
causes and impact of dividing occupied Tibet in 1965 into many pieces at an international webinar titled
“China’s Cartographic Colonialism in Tibet” experts from USA, Europe, Tibet and India expressed
concern that China’s Communist Party (CCP) and its leaders are religiously focused at washing out
Tibet’s history by rewriting and propagating a manufactured version that suits Chinese expansionism.
