DHARAMSALA, 16 March: The Tibetan Parliament-in-exile has announced that it will now conclude the budget session for the financial year 2020-2021within a day after the imposition of Section 144 in the Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra district for a month.

On 10th March 1959, people of Tibet revolted against China’s illegal occupation of a sovereign Tibet. With their fists in the air, Tibetans flooded the streets of Lhasa shouting, “Bhodkyi dhakpo bhodmi yin!” “Tibet belongs to Tibetans!”

The army of the People’s Republic of China began its invasion of Tibet in about the year 1949. Following courses of developments since then, the government of the Communist Party of China, employing the art of the trio of hypocrisy, deception, and deceit on the people of Tibet, eventually bared its naked intention to brazenly occupy the territory of the great nation of Tibet. And with devilish intentions, it targeted the personal safety of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The situation culminated to such an extent of severity that it became impossible for the people of Tibet to endure the ever-worsening development anymore.

DHARAMSALA, 9 March: The Central Tibetan Administration(CTA) held a prayer service on Sunday to recall and pay tribute to the peaceful Tibetan demonstrators of 1989 Uprising in Tibet.

DHARAMSALA, 6 March: The Deputy Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-exile(TPIE )has confirmed his bid for the upcoming Sikyong(President) election of the Tibetan-government-in-exile, officially known as Central Tibetan Administration(CTA).
